Anthony, you've been in the JGANC for four years now. You play
a lot of our events and every tournament I see you, you look
like you are having so much fun. Tell me, what has been the most
exciting moment for you in the JGANC? |

Anthony |
My most exciting moment was the California State Fair Junior
Tournment in Sacramento. I won and shot under par. It was my
first time shooting under par and it was so exciting to me. |

JGANC |
I actually remember when the results came into the office. My
first thought was "Wow" and I was really happy for
you. That means there are many more under par rounds out there.
You are a good person to ask this next question. If you could
imrpove the JGANC in some way, what would be your suggestion? |

Anthony |
If I could improve the JGANC, it would be to add more invitational
events because it will motivate and encourage players to play
better. |

JGANC |
That's a great suggestion. Some of our tournaments that are so
difficult to get into could easily be invitationals. How did
you get started playing golf? |

Anthony |
One day my dad and I were watching golf, I was seven years
old then. I asked him to take me to a driving range, so I can
try hitting. I enjoyed it so much that golf became my sport.
I started taking lessons and became competitive. |

You are certainly competitive. I suppose you spend a great deal
of time practicing. |
|
Anthony |
I try to practice everyday. If I have a lot of school work
I try to hit in my backyard, but I always make it a point to
practice at least every other day and every weekend. |

JGANC |
No wonder your game is in such great shape. So far, which event
is your favorite? |

Anthony |
My favorite tournament is the Pasatiempo. |

JGANC |
That is the Pasatiempo Sally Pini Memorial Junior in Santa Cruz.
It is a great event and very special because it is December.
It's always great to see your JGANC friends after getting back
into school and not being on the golf course on a daily basis.
As I said before, you always seem to be having a good time. Anything
funny happen to you out there? |

While playing with my friend, RJ Magat, I was making swing
impressions of Charles Barkley and Jim Furyk combined and my
shots went everywhere you could think of. RJ and I couldn't really
stop laughing. |

I can visualize that one. Anything else you want to share with
our members? |

I enjoy playing basketball and playing with my wave board.
I also like to play computer games and listen to music. I also
enjoy hanging out with my friends and quad riding. |
