The following names were reported to the JGANC as being No
Shows during the 2007 season. No Shows violate the Code of Conduct
agreed and/or signed by our junior members. No Shows cause many
juniors to lose the opportunity to play an event since most tournaments
have full fields and many juniors are rejected. No Shows cause
the tournament director many problems with tee times, tee prize
orders and food preparation. A junior with a No Show record is not invited to JGANC invitational events, events run by the JGANC or considered to be on one of our teams. The list of No Shows are shared with tournament directors on our calendar. If you find your name on this list and it is in error, you should call the tournament director of the event and make the correction. He/She will contact the JGANC. THE JUNIOR SHOULD NOT CONTACT THE JGANC. The list is provided as a service to our membership. It allows our members to correct any error. If the report is correct we suggest the junior send a note of apology to the tournament director. Underlined type indicates being a No Show more than once. JUNIORS: YOU ARE EXPECTED TO CALL THE TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR PRIOR TO THE TOURNAMENT, NOT THE DAY OF THE TOURNAMENT, TO CANCEL OR WITHDRAW. IF YOU DID NOT RECEIVE A CONFIRMATION THAT YOUR ENTRY WAS ACCEPTED, IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO CALL TO FIND OUT IF YOU ARE IN THE TOURNAMENT. NOT RECEIVING A CONFIRMATION IS NO EXCUSE FOR BEING A NO SHOW. |
