The Boys' USGA Junior Amateur Championship is being played at Longmeadow Country Club in Longmeadow, MA. A two-day qualifying was held Monday and Tuesday with the following JGANC members qualifying for Match Play: Charlie Harris, Peter Gibbs, Ryan Hallisey, Ryan Thomas and Roberto Galletti. Failing to qualify were Kenneth McCready and Gregor Main. First Round of match play held Wednesday,July 20 are as follows: Roberto Galletti defeated Brian Kim from Orange County 2-1 Ryan Thomas defeated Tripp McAllister from South Carolina 1 up Charlie Harris lost to Jack Field from North Caroline 4-2 Peter Gibbs lost to Tyler Morris from San Diego 2-1 Ryan Hallisey lost to Robert McRae from Utah on the 19th hole Second Round of match play held Thursday,July 21 are as follows: Ryan Thomas defeated Jean Philippe Paiement of Canada 2-1 Roberto Galletti lost to Rickie Fowler of Murrieta, CA 2-1 Third Round: Ryan Thomas defeated Joseph Monte from Chantilly, Virginia 1 up Quarterfinals:Ryan Thomas lost to Bradley Johnson from Birmingham, Alabama 1 up
